Visited on Friday night. The initial welcome on the door was lacking warmth. The person serving our table was lovely. There was a slight issue with the bill (it had charged extra for double fries which the manager says has been an issue since the menu changed) but the manager fixed it efficiently. Both meals were lovely. The meat was tender and the portion of fries was generous. Salad bar was great as always. We hadn't been for a while and I must say it's gotten very expensive per meal. The salad bar no longer feels free but factored into the cost, which is fair enough. We had a voucher so it was fine but I wouldn't visit now without one as the prices are now similar to local, gourmet restaurants.
The food was okay, nothing special. I had the so called hot sauce with my half chicken, I really wouldn't call it hot, it was mild at best and there was not enough sauce. The sage and onion chips were just chips, I didn't taste any sage or onions at all. My partner had salmon and dill fish cake, she enjoyed her meal and said it was very filling. All in all it was a pleasant experience eating her and we would visit again...
Food was really tasty, cooked well with decent size portions. Desserts were brilliant, large portions. Staff were friendly, and very quick service. Will be going again.

A very welcoming place to eat. The service was great, and breakfasts served until 12:00, we were seated straight away, and our hostess was very friendly and attentive ( Freja ). The quality of the food was very good. We especially enjoyed the Bacon, and my eggs were cooked exactly as I requested. On a side note, if you have a Blue Light card or a Defence Discount card if your ex forces you'll get 20% discount on your main meal. This isn't the first time I have eaten here, and I'm looking forward to returning soon.
